Case Study
Profile:
During the run up to the two oil field auctions in 2009 Aegis conducted a significant number of missions for oil company clients, primarily escorting teams conducting pre bid oilfield surveys, visits to locations of interest in the Basra area and meetings with oil industry officials and ministry officials in Baghdad. Aegis was instrumental in organising the local liaison with Iraqi Security Forces, USF-I, southern oil companies and other relevant entities. In addition, Aegis produced many trip threat assessments and oilfield security reports. Post contract awards, we have been working with clients providing security to their teams out in the oilfields and helping them develop their long term security strategy.
